Our story began in January 2020, in Victoria. Pre-pandemic... We had no idea what we would be in for! We met at the perfect time, really. Any later, and we may not have been so sure about entering the unknown of a long distance relationship during lockdown, with Dominic moving back to Vancouver to be with his family.
The first thing we connected over was music. When you tell someone who is getting a degree in music that you think you have remarkable taste, you best expect to be challenged on it. I think we both agree I passed the test with flying colours!
Beginning each day with some combination of 'good morning' and one of the several pet names we have for one another; and ending our days in sleepy contemplation of the origins, sounds, and meanings of words and phrases, is a treasured gift and ritual that just feels so right.
Six years later and the life we've built together continues to bloom.Â
We are so excited to set forth on this new adventure and hope you will join us so we can start it off right - surrounded by our closest friends and family.

She said yes. That's all that matters!
We did have a wonderful trip to the Netherlands and Belgium, and I am so glad that everything went (mostly) according to plan. Planning an overseas engagement was a little more stressful than anticipated, but it was all worth it to have the opportunity to truly surpise Morgan in such a beautiful city. The trip was filled with museums, castles, windmills, stroopwaffels, and birds. The highlight (aside from the engagement) was watching a Formula 1 race at the legendary Spa circuit.
Thanks to Hoi Ling Wong for our engagement photos.
